  • Introduction of graphite dies

Graphite dies has a widely used in copper & copper alloys, due to its superior performance. For example, In vertical continuous casting method, graphite dies are applied for producing copper and copper alloys rods and tubes, In horizontal continuous casting method, graphite dies are applied for production of copper and copper alloys section, especially band or strip, and In other related copper & copper alloy casting method, graphite protection sleeves, graphite stoppers, graphite spouts and so on

    Advantages ofGraphite Dies

    * Graphite Material. Different properties of graphite material are needed for casting different copper alloys. Graphite takes different graphite material specific to copper, brass, bronze and cupronickel, etc. in order to reach best performance and optimal cost efficiency.

    * Products Machining. Sizes precision are strictly requirements to graphite dies, as well as flatness and surface finishing.

Graphite dies are with precise dimensions and polished mirror surface on working side.

    * Special Treatment.  Graphite can make treatments, including purification, anti-oxidation treatment, and pyrolytic carbon coating, in order to improve graphite dies performances and extend service life when graphite dies are applied for copper alloys production.
