1. Definitions:
The graphite rotor is a component of the aluminum alloy smelting supporting equipment. Hydrogen and oxidation waste slag will be produced in the aluminum alloy smelting process, and they should be purified and removed by the refining degasser. The graphite rotor is an indispensable part of the refining degasser and slag removal. one of the accessories --. The graphite rotor is composed of two parts: a rotor rod and a nozzle.
2. Role
Used for aluminum, alloy, zinc and other foundry industry purification, slag removal, degassing, blowing, etc.
3. Usage
The transmission system drives the graphite rotor to rotate, and the inert gas (argon or nitrogen) is blown into the aluminum melt through the rotor rod and nozzle. The high-speed rotating graphite rotor disperses the argon or nitrogen entering the aluminum melt to form many small bubbles, which are dispersed in the molten metal. At the same time, the rotating rotor also promotes the diffusion of hydrogen and inclusions in the aluminum melt to make them contact with the bubbles. The bubbles absorb the hydrogen in the melt by the principle of gas partial pressure difference and surface adsorption in the melt, adsorb the oxidized slag, and are taken out of the melt surface as the bubbles rise, so that the melt can be purified. Because the bubbles are small and dispersed, they are evenly mixed with the rotating melt, and then rotate in a spiral shape and slowly float up, and the airflow generated by continuous straight rise will not be formed when they are in contact with the aluminum liquid, which is significantly improved.
